I can't speak highly enough of the S&A team's professionalism, timeliness and customer service oriented mindset, which is so refreshing, as it's such a hard find in the construction industry. Anyone who's familiar with this industry, knows that finding a good contractor is the hardest part of any construction job. Truly, S&A are a one in a million, and saved the day for my husband and I, who purchased our first investment property in Asbury Park, NJ, in Aug 2019. This 2 family home needed a full gut renovation, and unfortunately we originally hired a contractor that wasn't fit to complete this scope of work in an organized and timely manner - rather, after 9 months on the job there was still no end in sight. Little did we know, we would find everything we had hoped for in the S&A team....Tony (CEO/President) and his brother, Zach (site/project supervisor), assured us they were going to take care of it, and they kept their word. They got started on the work quickly, their crew worked full days 9-5 with no lolly gagging, and they checked in with us regularly throughout the process to ensure we were happy with the quality of the work and progress of the project. As the project progressed, even when we added things to the scope of work, they and their crew always had an amazing can-do attitude. They are so pleasant to work with, and operate their business as everyone should - they take pride in their work, want their clients to be happy, and are incredibly responsive and make themselves available to work through solutions to any challenges that arise. We wish we worked with them from the start - we would have had a much better experience, but believe me, we will absolutely be working with them again in the future, and would recommend their services without a doubt to anyone who is undertaking a construction project.
We chose S & A construction after talking to many contractors. Initial meeting gave us the confidence in selecting them. Project started on the proposed date, and was delivered with all the inspections passing the first time round. Total time from begin to end - less than 6 months. Quality of the team, products used and overall design surpassed our expectations and became the talk among friends and neighbors. Definitely recommend this builder.
